The Linux-based Maemo and an ARM Cortex-A8 processor. The operating system supports desktop-style multitasking, Nokia Messaging and a new “cloud” UI.
The new device features 1GB of RAM, upto 32 GB storage with a 3.5-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard and a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash. For connectivity, it has HSPA, Wi-Fi and GPS geo-tagging. It measures 110.9 x 59.8 x 18 mm and weighs 181g.
The Nokia N900 will be available in October this year, with an estimated price tag of $712. |
