The handsome looking Samsung Epic claims to be the second 4G Smartphone in the consumer electronics market. The tall figure boasts of a 4 inch Super AMOLED display, 5megapixel camera, Android 2.1, a front facing camera for video conferencing and sliding QWERTY keyboard to complete the picture.
For now, Epic 4G comes with Android 2.1 which as per Sprint will be replaced by Android 2.2 Froyo once it holds the ground in stores. Next, this huge handset contains Samsung TouchWiz skin, Swipe, Qik and also a good set of applications from Sprint like mobile hotspot app et al.
With so much to offer, performance is bound to be a hit. The new Epic 4G by Samsung runs on 1GHz Hummingbird CPU and that’s absolutely zap. Navigation of various apps including Amazon Kindle or Video player is a cakewalk with this Galaxy S Prototype. |
