With the finger on the pulse of the industry and close collaboration with the world’s leading IT enterprises, we will continue to be first to the market with cutting-edge products.
Q2. Beside Thin & Light and Eee PC series, what next series of laptops you are wishing to introduce? What's new in your desktop and net-top range?New X series and New N series will come out thin and light version. Plus, the next generation of EPC will equip with new Intel CDV platform to expanding the netbook market.
Q3. What kind of innovative Sales & Marketing strategies will Asus adopt to boost market share in India? These days numerous companies are betting big on social media marketing. What are your plans for social media marketing?We are planning to aggressively increase our presence across geographies in the Indian market. We are looking at expanding the number of stores to 100 by June this year. We are aiming at providing the opportunity to the customers to have firsthand information on its superior technology and product range.
Social media has become essential to boost the reach. It has successfully managed to become an essential aspect of the marketing mix today. We are constantly updating on various social networking sites and forums to be in constant touch with our users and update them about the ongoing and latest trends in the industry.

With various products going green, what are your commitments towards introducing energy efficient products?ASUS products are recognized throughout the world and comply with a myriad of eco-friendly standards and initiatives. The Green ASUS philosophy is focused on safeguarding our planet. We believe in adopting an eco-friendly approach towards every aspect of our business. We design and provide the most environmental friendly products to our customers to help mitigate impacts to the environment.
Q5. E-Commerce is already an in-thing in the new-age economic system, how do you plan to further augment its potential?E-commerce has become a vital part of our economic growth. E-commerce has been around for years, consumers now are at ease when it comes to e-shopping. The convenience and trust has instilled the confidence in consumers mind. Therefore, we are aggressively working on widening our e-presence on various ecommerce portals.

Q7. What is the current biggest challenge for your company?The speed of expansion and growth is too fast to forecast. In this case, it requires a lot of quick reaction and action to catch up the pace and not to miss any business opportunity.
Q8. Where does ASUS expect to be in the next 5 years and what are your future plans to garner more market share in India?We are insistently focusing the high growth areas; we aim at having 11 branches in India. Our focus has also been shifted to Tier II and Tier III areas. To cater to that, we are working on increasing the regional distributors and manpower to be able to reach each and every partner in each state. We are also aiming at adding 2 National Distributors in 2012 to increase the presence in more channel partners.

Nowadays, there is a continuous increase in worldwide market-share of Ultrabooks, how Asus is exploring the opportunity?Asus has recently launched ZENBOOK; an ultrabook that fuses masterpiece design and incredible performance.
