HP, the undisputed leader in PC and laptop segment has announced the launch of a new product, Mini 5101. The product is successor for HP Mini 2140, which is all time favorite netbook of the users. Mini 5101, is totally revamped and actually quite different that trades the silver metal look, with a slight curve to the lid. The new entrant supports a default 7200rpm hard drive but loses on Express Card. It has an optional higher-resolution 1,366x768 display, an optional integrated Gobi-powered HP Mobile Broadband module. The wide, flat, closely spaced keys have been tweaked more like the keys on a MacBook or Sony Vaio laptop, with a good amount of space between them. HP Mini 5101 starts at $449 and expected to be available in late July, this year.
