Apple with its new "GPush" app seems keen to add more number of business customers to its kitty and give RIM a head to head competition.

Few months back, when this app was reported for the first time it was expected that Apple would not approve it. But, Apple's approval has come as a pleasant surprise for all those who use Gmail for their business mails also.

With Gpush app, Google will not only push mails to iPhone users but will also be able to notify them on the arrival of a new mail. The service will be available once the developers sort the issues with their servers.

The app is reported to make use of "Apple's Push Notifications system".

With the problems in their relationship on apps like Google Voice and Latitude, an approval was never expected and has emerged as a surprise to all IT users.

On a broader note, the approval will add boost to App store popularity for sure and will be a rewarding association for both the competitors.
