Asus, a pioneer in laptop and computer manufacturing has officially announced its P565 Smartphone. Asus P565 Smartphone is powered on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and works with 800MHz processor. Among other specifications, the phone includes a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen, HSDPA 3.6Mbps, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g and Asus’s Glide graphical user interface.
The P565 has 256MB RAM and 128MB ROM, with memory expansion via a microSD card slot. It measures 102 mm x 60.5 mm x 16 mm and weighs 120g. It is also equipped with 3 MP camera. Along with these features, the P565 is also enabled of recording MPEG4 video at QVGA 24fps quality, or playing back MPEG4 video at QVGA 30fps. It supports the usual Exchange push-email and synchronization. No prices or availability details from ASUS yet.
