Hewlett-Packard, the PC maker has announced yet another laptop in its ENVY series called Envy 15 Beats, which is the result of a partnership between HP and Beats Electronics, the headphone developer.
With the new launch, it seems that HP is taking on Apple in high-end laptops with high-performance sound and graphics.
The new device features a piano black, high gloss finish and comes with a pair of Beats headphones. It also features Beats' mixing software for professional and aspiring DJs.
The new laptop features Intel’s latest Core i7 processor and provides a choice between 15.6-inch BrightView LED backlit displays or full HD LED Ultra BrightView widescreen display.
With a price tag of about $2,299, the Envy 15 Beats is an inch thick and weighs 5.19 pounds. It comes with an external optical drive and an optional extended-life battery with upto seven hours of battery life. It also features a built-in Webcam, which can work in low-light conditions.
According to company, the new Envy laptop will run Microsoft Windows 7 and is scheduled to be available on the same day the new operating system ships that is October 22nd.
