California-based system vendor HP has announced the introduction of its new mobile thin client dubbed HP 4410t Mobile Thin Client. The new thin client is designed to provide its users with enhanced security for server-based computing. In addition to the new mobile thin client, HP also announced a series of hardware and software enhancements to its thin client portfolio.
HP’s new 4410t has been featured with a 14-inch widescreen LED display and weighs in at 4.3 pounds. It has been designed on ProBook series and includes a number of security features, specifically targeted at the business consumer. Additionally, it supports a full-sized, spill-resistant keyboard with an integrated touch pad, optional DVD-ROM and a suite of software applications designed to increase productivity.
HP also announced that several of its desktop thin clients, including the HP t5145, HP t5540, HP t5545, HP t5630 and HP t5630w models.
The HP 4410t Mobile Thin Client will be available in mid-July for a starting price of US$549, while the HP thin client with 5.0 specifications are already available for a starting price of just US$199. Renu Singh/ITVoir Network |
