HTC, the Taiwanese vendor has recently launched its new Smartphone that is integrated with WiMax. The phone is announced exclusively for Russia’s 4G network. The new Smartphone is based on Windows Mobile. The HTC Max 4G is based on HTC Touch HD, except it includes support for the next-generation mobile broadband. The phone is for now exclusive to Russia’s Scartel which is building WiMax network under the brand Yota.
As per sources, the new Smartphone based on WiMax can bring in innovative services, high speed internet to mobile devices, and will for sure bring revolution to communication industry. The high speed connectivity of WiMax enables many features and services like video-on-demand service and to display up to nine channels.
HTC Smartphone named as Max 4G is loaded having a 3.8-inch touch screen layered its TouchFlo 3-D user interface to make navigation easier and more finger-friendly. The phone has also built-in Wi-Fi, assisted GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and Bluetooth capabilities. The phone is integrated with 8 GB of memory onboard, and that can be expanded via the microSD slot.
The handset is slated to ship at the end of November for more than $1,000.
