As the subsequent footstep towards the growth, Microsoft has released a major update to its Windows Home Server product. The Power pack 1 is now available to the users.
The attractive feature of the product is its ability to fix bugs that can cause serious problem to the valuable files stored in a computer.
Power Pack 1 has some great new functionality. Windows Home server unit is equipped with two or more hard drives. It aids the ease of file transfer through application like Vista Photo Gallery, Office OneNote 2007, Outlook 2007, Money 2007 and several others.
Windows Home Server permits users to create a central repository for all the digital content in their homes. Some additional features of the product includes ability to cancel multiple uploads, ability to transfer & upload larger files, new thumbnail view etc. It makes zipping up multiple files for downloading really easy for the users.
Microsoft released the product in November of last year and now it is releasing its power pack1. The new product removes the anomalies of the previous product like the consumers were getting problem in handling media management programs, including Windows Media Player.
