The world leader in mobile manufacturing Nokia has announced the shipment of Nokia N96 Smartphone.
The Finnish leader has announced that the Smartphone is available for retailing at US$792 before taxes and subsidies. But it was not specified that to which all countries it will be available for retailing.
The phone is upgrade to N95 and measures 2.8 inches, a 5-megapixel camera and support for navigation using A-GPS (Assisted Global Positioning System).
Additionally it has on board memory of 16G-byte, a microSD card, and users can surf the Web using either Wi-Fi or HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) at 3.6M bps (bits per second).
For video formats it supports the most common video formats including MPEG-4, Windows Media Video and Flash Video.
According to market watchers, the specifications were pretty good when the phone was announced in February, but now it seems that these features have been surpassed by the others in the competition. The recently announced Samsung INNOV8 has an 8-megapixel camera and HSDPA at 7.2M bps.
