Recently there have been rumors in the industry about this so called Son-of-Newton touch Technology. Some suggest that Apple may have its next bet on the touch technology combined with thinner notebooks which would be soon known as the MacBook touch. To have a prompt feedback on iPhone, people are beginning to love the finger multi touch devices and are ready to accept a product like Macbook Touch. Gone are the days for stylus based products. . Insiders have this product running on a special version of Mac OS X. Could these presumptions be true ? Our take is why not when Apple can quickly absorb the feedback of the masses and give in a product with 3G enability.
But as expected the popularity of UMPCs is still debated as against their durability on the rationale that it was too small for notebook replacement, too big for true portability. So does it make sense to discover and gun for a new market potential ?
Would the trends be picking on the hybrid notebook tablet formats.
Nevertheless, Apple''s much acknowledged success with its products is to re-invent the format and do a good implementation of such a compact device, now based on multi-touch technology.
There''s where the ultra-slim MacBook and the Son-of-Newton touch concept comes into the picture. So what we might just have is a ultra-thin MacBook with a Leopard OS on Intel''s just announced ultra-low power Core processors and WiMax support.
We do already hear a revolution beneath the Laptop space.
Kudos Apple Macbook Touch.
