According to a latest update, CommScope has announced the appointment of Alamuri Sitaramaiah (Sita) as its new Channel Sales Director for India and SAARC countries. 

It is reportedly said that Sitaramaiah (Sita) will lead CommScope’s ongoing efforts for developing a high quality partner community which would be responsible for driving superior service and support for customers. In his new role, Sita will report directly to Stephen Kowal, Vice President, Global Partner Organization.

Having almost three decades of experience, Sita had held numerous senior positions at leading companies including Fluke Networks and Tyco Electronics. 

Stephen Kowal has reportedly shared his views in a recent interview on Sita’s appointment. He said, “We are extremely happy to have Sita onboard with us. His dedication, track record, and expertise will benefit our partners and enable us to strengthen our position in the structured cabling and infrastructure market. Sita’s focus on CommScope’s Partner PRO Network will ensure, we have the most comprehensive and professional network of partners to support our customers’ complex network needs”.

Commenting on his appointment, Sita said, “The channel partner community in India and other SAARC countries is extremely vibrant and growing at a rapid pace. I firmly believe that it is important to focus on building and maintaining relationships with our partners, who form an integral part of any enterprise’s success”. 

Sita holds his bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University. As far as his master’s degree is concerned, he has done Engineering in Communication Systems from the University of Roorkee.
