Google invites the masses: Android 4.3 to be launched on live stream press conference
Added On:7/19/2013 10:47:00 AM

Google has announced a press invite for worldwide media on July 24 in San Francisco. Sundar Pichai, company’s Android and Chrome head would be addressing the meeting.

As per sources Google would be kicking off the event at 9 am and live stream it on YouTube. The rumors are about the next iteration Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

But the recent leaks of the handsets like Moto X, and new Nexus 4 showed a next version of the Jelly Bean version.

Android 4.3 was spotted on new Nexus 4 at Mobile Expo 2013 in Taiwan, as was seen in the leaked ad of Moto X. Here are some features that were shown in add: Open Mic - an always-on mic for voice commands ala Google Glass; Active Updates - part of the screen auto wakes up to show notifications and the clock in standby; Camera is launched by twisting your wrist twice; No on-screen shutter key, just touch anywhere on the viewfinder for the camera to take a picture; Holding your finger for longer on the screen makes the camera quickly take several snaps in succession. And the rumors of the device having LTE capabilities; the semi-transparent on-screen navigation keys, have become true as well.
