Sony’s Play Station 3:

The Sony Play Station 3 was launched on 26^th April 2007. While launched they had declared it as next generation entertainment. Yes this play station had proved that it is the next generation entertainment gaming system. It changes gaming panorama drastically. It’s the first one gaming console which has a built-in high definition TV. It resists high game play which boasting up gamer’s sprit for playing.  The console possesses a powerful processor which makes it unique of its kind. Sony had launched 40GB and 60GB version in this series in 2007 only.

Apple’s iPhone and iPod with touch based interface:-

The biggest blast in gadgets of 2007 was made by Apple by introducing its iPhone and iPod touch in market. Through-out 2007 Apples iPhone and iPod makes people crazy about it. Every one was curious to know about touch based interface iPhone and iPod. Apple introduced touch interface in its 3.5 inch display along with Wi Fi support. This support helps in connecting to web by using its build in safari browser. Apple makes it available in 8GB and 10GB version.

Navigation Devices makes map available on a click:-

The navigation devices launched had been started from 2006 but the first website for navigation was made on 2007 only. GPS (global positioning system) was offered in many phones as a feature. However the problem arises on maps. The second part of 2007, when the first online portal for navigation was launched, known as The MapMyIndia. It consist of 55,000 maps of town and villages, 150 cities, around 2 00,000 point of interest. These all contribute a lot in making 2007 a gadget favorable and advancement year. 

Real camera phones:-

In 2007 camera phone almost replace the camera position. The camera phones vendors like Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and LG had introduced 5MP cameras. The first in this range was offered by Nokia as N95, 4GB version. This handset was capable of multimedia power. LG had come up with LG’s KG920, with 20 buttons making writing a smooth process on phone. Sony Ericsson launched K850i and Samsung with Metal 5 came in camera phones series. The latest in these phones is LG Viewty which provides 120fps facility.

In view of all these advancement we can say that gadget year is 2007 let’s hope that 2008 also offer the same large and advanced range of gadgets.
