Trojan in iPhone:-

The first Trojan for iPhone has appeared and while the virus is a mild one, the incident could lead to more lethal viruses appearing on the iPhone.

According to the US Computer Emergency Response Team, software it is known as "iPhone firmware 1.1.3 prep" is projecting itself as an important update much before Apple's awaited 1.1.3 update is released.

The iPhone was released on June 29 and during November last year in select European countries. Hackers though have targeted the device continuously and the latest episode of another such attempt to compromise iPhone security.

The question of iPhone security is again arise due to this newly introduced Trojan. Its attacking pattern is quite different from others. When the user downloads the software and installs it, the Trojan displays the word "shoes". If the user tries to uninstall the Trojan, a number of applications removed, meaning that the user will have to once again reinstall those applications.

The Trojan was created by 11-year old kid who was trying to rewrite XML files(reported). While this attack has been dismissed as a prank, F-Secure said that a fix has to be found out before more lethal viruses appear.

"This time it was an 11-year-old kid playing with XML files who created the Trojan. Next time it might be someone else with more skills and with specific target. Who knows what is going to be happened on next movement in technology field.
