The brand new high-technology smart phone from LG Mobile, the LG-KS20 is now
available in major European countries today. LG Electronics (LG), a worldwide
technology leader in mobile communications, has announced the launch of its
latest high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) smart phone, the LG-KS20. The
phone’s full touch screen gives it unparalleled usability and a top download
speed of HSDPA 3.6 Mbps enables to an enriched internet experience.
As a product completed with LG Mobile’s intensive know-how on the mobile phone,
LG-KS20 received an overwhelmingly favorable response from the press and the
parties concerned, by winning ‘Choice Product’ for ‘Product Highlight’ at ‘IFA
2007’ held in Berlin, Germany from last Aug. 31 through Sep. 5.
LG-KS20, a smart phone strategically launched by LG based on various multimedia
features, is a product the target of which has been expanded from the biz
market that used to be the existing smart phone’s core market to the consumer
market.
Pursuing high technology along with LG ‘Viewty’ Phone (model: LG-KU990),
LG-KS20 is expected to be the first product strategically launched from the
line of the next generation High Technology Category products.
Compatible with highly advanced HSDPA networks, LG-KS20 allows users to enjoy
the full benefits of 3.6Mbps high speed mobile internet, including downloading
of music, video clips and Windows Live™ content, as well as push e-mail. HSDPA
technologies receive data at 3.6Mbps, which is the speed of over 7 times faster
than the widely-used WCDMA phones.
Also, LG-KS20 provides full Internet browsing functions such as full screen
display, favorites and shortcuts. It presents a PC-like Internet page and
allows free and unrestricted web surfing.
A completely full flat touch screen doubles convenience in using mobile
internet through a fluent and direct interaction as well as a perfect minimal
& stylish design. LG-KS20 realized an intuitive touch system with enhanced
convenience for users to be able to input instructions with a stylus or pen, as
well as fingertips.
The phone is also equipped with a host of other advanced features such as WiFi
connectivity, natural handwriting recognition, 128MB internal memory, Micro SD
external memory and Bluetooth 2.0, and is powered by the Windows Mobile 6.
