Micron Technology, Inc. will host an analyst conference on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008. Steve Appleton, Micron's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Durcan, Micron's President and Chief Operating Officer, and other Micron executive officers will make presentations, respond to questions regarding Micron's strategy and provide an update on current market conditions.

The company also announced today the appointment of Mark Adams to the position of Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Adams, formerly Micron's Vice President of Digital Media, joined Micron in 2006 with the company's acquisition of Lexar Media, Inc.

To assist Adams in the newly expanded sales organization, Micron has appointed Paul Mullen to Vice President of International OEM Sales and Mike Bokan to Vice President of Americas OEM Sales. Adams replaces Mike Sadler, who has accepted a new role in the Office of the President for MeiYa Technology Corporation, a DRAM joint venture between Micron and Nanya Technology Corporation.

Commenting on this update, Durcan said "Mike Sadler's experience and knowledge of Micron, as well as his strong business acumen and experience in Asia, make him an ideal choice for providing leadership in the MeiYa joint venture that is a critical component of Micron's business.”
